Getting traffic on the website isn’t a piece of cake these days when we surrounded by millions of websites. If you are a blogger, YouTuber or a website owner, you will agree to my point. But today I will discuss some basic SEO tips that will surely increase traffic on your website. So stick to my article.

Keywords:

Keywords are the most important thing to focus to get traffic. Pick those keywords that are included in adverts. Because adverts are SEO optimized so if you add those keywords that adverts include there is a huge chance of an increase in traffic. For example, I searched for “how to make free website” and I got this result:

An ad. Showed for Free website maker. If you include these keywords i.e ”website maker” in your website then the search engine will show them on a higher rank.

EXTRA: Keywords like “How to”, “Effectively”, “Surely”, “Solved”, “increase” are most searched keywords.

BackLinks:

Backlinks are how many websites are redirecting to your website. Backlinks are directly linked to traffic on your website. So try to add backlinks as much as possible. Previously, google ranked sites on the basis of backlinks. If you have many backlinks for your website there is a huge possibility of gaining higher rank on search results. Ultimately, a stream of organic traffic will increase on your website.

An easy method to increase backlinks is to search similar topic as of your article. Open that article and in comment section post link to your article. 

Sitemap:

Sitemap of website is a like a track of your website. Add a sitemap on google search console a.k.a google webmaster tools. This will help web crawler to navigate through your website and search the result of query.

Link to other websites:

Now, this is another important thing, add URL’s to other sites. More traffic redirecting from your website will rank your website higher on search engines. And try to shorten URL’s. 

Introduction to Article:

This is the most important thing you have to do, try to write the introductory paragraph of your article more interesting. Because around 80% users left website if they didn’t found first paragraph interesting. Think, re-think then write your article. More time users spend on your website greater will be the 

Loading Time:

Make sure your website loads in very less time because in present time people hate slow loading and if they face these problems on your website then they will leave your website in no time. So try to optimize your website. 

Schema microdata:

Through google search console submit schemas microdata on your website. These schemas will tell web crawler what your site is about. If web crawler successfully understands your schemas then it will show your website on a higher position in search results. 

schema.org will help you in submitting these schemas on your website.

Good Content:

Last but not the least, write good content that attracts readers. Pick a topic and stick to it. Do not mix different type of articles on your website. If you are writing about technology then write only about it. Do not add cooking recipes in it. 

Another important thing is, write your article in headings. It will help reader to easily skim and scan your article.
